North Coast College & Career Expo

The North Coast College and Career Expo is for all high school students and parents. It is a fast pace, jam-packed event featuring reps from dozens of colleges and career paths.

I’ve Been Admitted to College

The I’ve Been Admitted to College (IBAC) program is a college event for all local 8th graders. This is a fun and informative field trip where students are introduced to college and participate in activities on the Cal Poly Humboldt campus.

Redwood Days

Redwood Days, formerly known as I’ve Been Admitted to College for 7th Graders, is a college event for all local 7th graders. During this field trip to the College of the Redwoods, students are introduced to what community college life is like and get to see some of the opportunities available.

Making College Happen: The 10th Grade Experience

Making College Happen is built upon the “I’ve Been Admitted to College” 8th grade event and gives participants additional tools to help prepare for college. This event introduces students to the majors offered by Cal Poly Humboldt and explores how these programs and students’ interests connect to future careers. The event helps students navigate the application process and learn about the transfer path from community colleges to Cal Poly Humboldt.
