About the Presenters
Tara Kajtaniak taught global issues and environmental literacy and justice in her English Language Arts classroom at Fortuna High for 16 years and has been a Redwood Writing Project consultant for over a decade. She is now wearing many hats working at Alder Grove Charter School, Cal-Poly Humboldt, and the California Environmental Literacy Initiative.
Stephanie Strasser has taught Grades 2-8 at Trinidad Elementary and has been a Redwood Writing Consultant for over a decade. She is currently a reading interventionist and is passionate about reading equity and environmentalism.
