Description
An interactive, hands-on training to gain understanding of specific hand-eye coordination skills that are integral to development of pre-writing and writing skills. Will include teaching and intervention strategies for handwriting development, as well as how to incorporate fine motor skills across learning activities.
About the Presenter
Deb Burstiner is an occupational therapist who worked with children of all ages and a variety of special needs for over 20 years. She has expertise in early child development focusing on sensorimotor and executive function skills. Deb was a part of the special education department of HCOE for 14 years supporting Humboldt County schools.
