Description
California has passed a mandatory screening law for dyslexia for grades K-2 starting in 2025-2026. This session will discuss possible screeners, interventions, and local needs to meet this mandate.
About the Presenter
Dr. AmyK Conley is a lecturer and supervisor at Cal Poly Humboldt in literacy in the education department. She served as a high school English teacher for 21 years, where she worked to promote educational programs that foster excellence in service-learning, literacy, and equity. Currently, she works on literacy teacher preparation and professional development.
