Music teachers have to get even more creative than just jumping on Zoom to facilitate their lessons. Eureka High’s Charles Young went above (literally) and beyond with some fun ways to illustrate music concepts to his charges. In the video above, Charles uses a ladder in his living room (which thankfully has very high ceilings) to teach Basic Intervals.

“This a basic Introduction to intervals,” Charles explains. “I’m always on the look out for how to teach this to my visual learners. With the pandemic, it’s even more difficult to teach in multiple modalities. In this case for the kinesthetic learner it’s still harder to learn.”
