The theme of the November 2021 Family Maker Night will be Cultural Fire. The evening’s special guests are Elizabeth Azzuz and Skip Lowry, both members of the Yurok Tribe. Elizabeth is co-director and Fire Keeper of Cultural Fire Management Council, a community based organization furthering fire use andcultural resource management. Skip is a California State Parks North Coast Redwoods district interpreter, representing the newly renamed Sue-meg State Park and is also a strong advocate for Cultural Fire.
