Introduction to Agriculture

This course is designed for beginning students in agriculture. The first part of the course covers the FFA and leadership. The remainder of the year covers animal productions, and an introduction to plant sciences, record keeping, and the importance of agriculture in our local area, in California, in the United States, and in the world. *FFA membership is mandatory, and each student must attend 2 FFA related activities per quarter.

Agricultural Leadership

This class is designed for the FFA officers. Topics presented will include: chapter functions and activities; chapter finances; judging teams; parliamentary procedure; FFA general and executive meeting procedures; and recreational activities.

Agriculture Intern

This class is designed for students holding a labor position in the field of agriculture. The course requires documentation of work time and activities for pass/fail credit.
