Errin Odell
This pathway provides students the opportunity and experience to develop their skills in the area of game development and computer programming and set them up for future success in the ICT field or any career that requires a base knowledge of computer science. There are three courses that students are able to complete; Intro to Game Development, Programming, and Advanced Computer Programming.
Game Development students will learn to program four games with the assistance of step-by-step video tutorials after the game is built students can then design levels and create graphics.
Programming students move from development into scripting with the more advanced programming language.
Advanced Computer Programming allows students to complete a programming based project of their choice. Project categories may include but are not limited to game programming, maker projects, and robotics.
