Last week, Alex Hunt of Kramer Properties invited students from McKinleyville High School to a real work site to gain hands on experience. Alex did a fantastic job showing the students best practices and work site safety and with his help, patience, and expertise, students were able to build their own walls on site, giving students a real world trades experience. When Education @ Work partners, such as Alex Hunt, volunteer their time and knowledge, students are really able to get a solid grasp on trade industries, opening up a whole exciting world of opportunities.
