We would like to extend a huge thanks to both Nathan Nilsen of Nilsen Feed Company and Steve Reis and the Bettendorf Enterprises team for volunteering their time, manpower, and trucks to the Trades Academy. A bright October morning greeted the students of  McKinleyville and Arcata High Schools who were allowed to sit at the drivers seat of the trucks and get information on how to get their Class A license, which is required to drive trucks. Providing hands-on experience to the students add that personalized educational element that the Trades Academy is really striving for, so – thank you again Nilsen Feed Co. and Bettendorf Enterprises!
