Students from Fortuna High’s Building Trades class learned about the value of safety in an auto shop safety presentation last week. Paul Hurd, Pacific Builder’s safety consultant, gave the presentation. Hurd discussed the importance of safety in any trade and how vital it is to develop safe habits early on. The students also visited the shop and were shown how to safely work with various tools and equipment.
