College Connect Takes High School Students to HSU

Throughout the month of October, Education at Work’s College Connect Program has been hosting field trips to Humboldt State University. Students from Fortuna Union High School, McKinleyville High School, and Arcata High School, had the opportunity to attend a college class at HSU. The courses included: Engineering, Economics, and Special Education. The students were able to interact with the HSU students and experience what a college class is really like. Each class ended with a Q&A between the students and the professors. Thank you to HSU and the HSU professors for hosting our local students!
