Earlier this month, the Trades Academy took local high school students to visit the Danco construction site at the new Veterans Housing Building in Eureka. Included were students from Alder Grove Charter, Northern United Charter, Pacific View Charter, and Zoe Barnum High School. They received a lesson on the different phases of construction while seeing construction work in action. They also learned more about what it takes to get hired in construction. Special thanks to Kathy Yorks with Danco for providing the tour!
