For the 2020-2021 school year, all Family Maker Nights will be held via Zoom. Each one will feature one or more hosts and a variety of activities designed so that you can follow along and do them at home. Videos of the activities will also be archived so you can watch them and do the activities later if you want.

Have you ever wondered what lurks just under the surface of a creek or river? This presentation will show you how to create an underwater viewer and teach you about some of the small creatures that live in the water and how they can help you determine the quality of that water.
Make an underwater viewer using a plastic container.

Using the everyday materials provided, students are tasked with designing the most effective water filter to remove dirt from water. The designs should filter water through at a reasonable rate while still removing discoloration and suspended particles from the water.
Create a water filtration system using a 2 liter bottle, gravel, sand, and carbon
