Floral Design

The development of technical skills, record keeping, and leadership activities serves as a foundation for complex artistic floral designs, as well as developing floral industry competencies.

Advanced Floral Design

Expand and refine your floral design skills by exploring historical and international floral design. This course includes advanced linear, sheltered, Phoenix, wire structure, abstract, and cascade or waterfall designs. Techniques include basing, binding, banding, wiring, taping, and use of chicken wire as you work with a wide range of flowers and foliage. IN this project based class, the teacher will demonstrate the elements and principles of design while you work with increasingly challenging concepts and a broad variety of techniques and materials to create exceptional designs.
