Humboldt County Office of Education invites K–12 teachers and leaders to spend a full day in inquiry-based exploration of the evolving world of generative AI and its implications for teaching and learning.

Through interactive sessions, participants will:

  • Gain a working understanding of how generative AI functions
  • Examine its potential and risks for education and society
  • Explore practical strategies for integrating it into the classroom, and developing policies.

The day will also provide a clear lens for evaluating instructional uses of AI and a human-centered framework for making informed decisions about adopting and purchasing AI-powered tools. Educators will leave empowered and ready to navigate this shifting landscape with confidence and care.

*Cost of attendance is $55.00 per participant.
