The Humboldt County Office of Education Transportation Department is dedicated to the safe transportation of special needs children from home to school each day. On average the department transports 125 students to 12 schools sites in Humboldt County traveling approximately 160,000 annual miles.
The Transportation Department also maintains a fleet of vehicles for the work related use of Humboldt County Office of Education Employees whose responsibilities take them to school sites, student’s homes or other location through out the county.
