Students from Northern United Charter, Alder Grove Charter, Eel River Community, and the Eureka Resource Center Schools were given the opportunity to get an intimate look at the ambulances Eureka City Ambulance (ECA) drive around daily. Volunteers from ECA came and presented about the myriad of ways the ambulances work and how they are used, as well as what is required to have a career as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and Paramedic. Students were able to get into the ambulance and explore the tools equipment and they were even allowed to turn on the lights and sirens! We are so grateful to have the opportunity to learn the many facets of Heath Careers. Thanks Eureka City Ambulance!
