Eureka High School Metal Shop students had the unique opportunity to learn about careers in Metal Fabrication with a special tour through O&M Industries in Arcata. Two groups of students got to see the process of how a metal square gets manufactured into something useful. The tour consisted of a full demonstration of a project going through development and planning, through to engineering, then to the shop where the metal was cut out on a CNC Plasma Cutter, formed, and welded on the assembly line. O&M always provides phenomenal tours and hands on learning for the students. Thank you so much to Chris Albright and his O&M team for taking the time to inspire the next generation of Welders, Engineers, and Drafters.
