All County Music Festival 2020 is CANCELLED

All County Music Festival 2020 is CANCELLED

On March 11th, there was a meeting with Humboldt County Superintendents and officials from Public Health regarding continuing safety of our students as the Coronavirus (CoVid19) continues to be of concern. In light of recommended safety measures, number of and geographic scope of attendees, and inability to feel 100% confident we are able to implement the Public Health’s recommended safety protocols in such a short time, it is with a heavy heart we inform you the All County Music Festival is cancelled.

Superintendent of Humboldt County Schools, Chris Hartley and HCOE want you to know we value the importance of this festival in the lives of our students, your hard work as their music teachers, and their families. We recognize and applaud all the time, energy, and heart that has gone into planning it. The safety and well being of our students and attendees remains our top priority.

At this time, all other CMEA music events are not cancelled. There will be information coming out about the upcoming festivals and protocols necessary to host them.
