Humboldt County Office of Education: Pfizer Vaccine Available to Adolescents Ages 12+

Pfizer Vaccine Available to Adolescents Ages 12+

The Centers for Disease Control has approved use of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for anyone aged 12 years and up, and local vaccination centers have begun offering appointments to individuals in that age category. Public Health will be offering several vaccination clinics in the coming weeks at College of the Redwoods, and many local pharmacies are also accepting appointments.

The Public Health clinics will be held on Thursday, May 20, Thursday, May 27, and Wednesday, June 2. Visit myturn.ca.gov to book your appointment at one of these clinics. For a list of local pharmacies taking appointments, visit the Humboldt County Vaccine Information Page.
