Family Vaccination Clinic To Be Held at HCOE

(Eureka)—The Humboldt County Office of Education’s Sequoia Conference Center at 901 Myrtle Avenue in Eureka will be the site of a family vaccination clinic Wednesday, February 16th. The clinic is offered through a collaboration with the Humboldt County Public Health Department and will be open to school families including adults, teenagers and young children, in an effort to allow families to get their COVID-19 vaccinations. Children ages 5 and up are welcome.

Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines and boosters will be available at the clinic from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with appointments recommended by registering online by My Turn (MyTurn.ca.gov).

With vaccines, children ages 12 and under will receive new backpacks, while family members over the age of 12 who get a vaccine will receive WinCo or Renner gift cards while supplies last. 200 appointments have been made available for this family COVID-19 vaccination clinic. Face coverings are required for indoor spaces at the Sequoia Conference Center, a meeting facility operated by the Humboldt County Office of Education. Parking will be available on-site.
