Calling All Educators Supporting Older Striving Readers! Five-part workshop series, part support group, this community of practice is a space for connection, collaboration, and growth. Together with fellow educators of grades 5–12, we’ll explore how to help older readers thrive. Because it’s never too late to learn to read and to read well.

In this series, we’ll ask big questions:

  • How might middle and high school teachers understand the unique challenges struggling older readers face?
  • What effective, evidence-based approaches are critical to supporting adolescent readers?
  • How can we balance targeted interventions with access to grade-level content and literacy growth?

Deep dive into research, bridge to classroom practice, learn from colleagues, and reflect! Let’s support and believe in students who may not believe in themselves.

1 unit of extended education credit is available for purchase for teachers completing all sessions.
