To support districts and schools to utilize the new California list of adopted math curriculum, HCOE will be hosting a Math Curriculum Review on December 8th and 15th at the Sequoia Center in Eureka.

Educators will attend on both dates. Day 1: 8:30 – 3:30 pm, Day 2: 8:30 – 12:00 pm

Each district is invited to send a team of administrators and/or teacher leaders to review the new curriculum.

• The attending groups will review curricula using rubrics and create a spreadsheet with information related to the review. 
• Districts can use this information to adopt a new mathematics curriculum when ready. 
• Workshop starts with a brief exploration of the new framework, and includes a review of the adoption process and time for leaders to examine curricula they may be interested in.
• Breakfast and lunch provided both days.
• Following the review session on Day 2, there will be a Publishers Fair from 12:30 – 5:00pm in Sequoia.
  • Over 15 publishers will be on site to discuss curriculum and offer samples!
