For every month this school year, the Trades Academy has a theme planned, helping students and Education at Work partners work together to maximize the amount of time dedicated to a trades industry. November is Water Month and we have a great video to help introduce you to Water Month here. To help us kick off the month, Dave Fisch, of Fisch Drilling, is touring the county high schools sharing all about what it means to have careers in Water. So far Dave and the Trades Academy have visited East High, Zoe Barnum, and Arcata High Schools with more stops planned along the month. We are so grateful to Dave Fisch for volunteering his time and expertise to the students of Humboldt County.
