Preparing today’s students for tomorrow’s workplace is what Career and Technical Education (CTE) is all about. Eureka City Schools offers students outstanding CTE learning opportunities. From core academic skills to employment skills, from technical skills to job-specific skills, ECS is committed to providing the highest-quality CTE programs. At ECS, students engaged in CTE classes form deep connections with our local community.
Students are able to apply real-world skills through local business and industry partnerships. CTE classes’ hands-on learning opportunities help prepare future high school graduates for their future college or career path.
Students first have the chance to benefit from CTE classes at Winship and Zane Middle Schools. ECS middle school introductory CTE classes provide students a glimpse of the more than 30 CTE offerings at Eureka High School and Zoe Barnum Continuation High School. There’s something for everyone – from floral design to welding, auto shop to pottery, and architectural design to culinary.
