The Agriculture and Natural Resources Pathway includes Agriscience, Agriculture Mechanics and Floral Design. Students have the opportunity to work in different areas of the school farm utilizing the greenhouse, barn and shop facilities. All Agriculture classes meet the college preparatory high quality UC standards for admission. Students that are enrolled in Agriculture classes are members of Future Farmers of America (FFA).

Agriscience Pathway

This pathway focuses on the science of agriculture including Agriculture Biology, Chemistry in Agriculture, and Advanced Agriscience.

Agriculture Mechanics

Students in the Agriculture Mechanics pathway will develop skills and knowledge in shop safety, construction, welding, equipment operation, tool repair, metal cutting, basic fabrication, plumbing, electricity, concrete, and farm machinery.

Floral Design

Students will learn artistic concepts and then apply the skills to hands-on floral projects including a variety of floral arrangement styles as well as principles of irrigation, plant selection, and proper planting techniques.
