Join us this Community of Practice (CoP) for an immersive three-part learning experience that explores how creative inquiry can deepen student engagement through STEAM, Arts Integration, and Social-Emotional Learning. Participants will transform children’s literature into collaborative theatrical experiences through costume design, soundscapes, light and shadow, visual arts, and performance-making.
As they design, build, rehearse, and perform original scenes, educators will explore practical arts integration strategies that foster creativity, collaboration, and imaginative thinking in the classroom.
Participants will leave with:
- Arts-integrated lesson ideas,
- STEAM connections,
- Creative inquiry strategies
- SEL practices that support belonging, student voice, collaboration, and joyful learning
