What is a Paraeducator?
A paraeducator, sometimes called a classroom assistant, is an individual who provides instructional or related support to students under the direction and supervision of a certified teacher. The roles and responsibilities of paraeducators are plentiful and have reached new levels of importance.

- Completion of this course is equal to 15 hours of professional development & will earn you a badge of certification.
You have 6 weeks to complete the 6 Modules. This is an asynchronous course, meaning you may complete the tasks at any time of the day, and any day of the week, as long as you finish the module by Sunday of that week. There will be three synchronous meetings on Zoom with the course facilitator: a kick-off meeting, a mid-way check in, and a culminating course meeting.
