Department of Labor offers a series of videos to educate youth on Job Readiness. These everyday skills are needed for work, learning and life. Improving them will help you succeed in todays and tomorrow’s workplace.
These badges are earned by watching a series of short videos and answering the questions correctly at the end. This training prepares youth interested in work-based learning to better understand expected behaviors and attitudes in a work environment and life skills in general. Employers have expressed that these skills are very important in the world of work.
If you would like to receive a Certificate of Job Readiness, watch seven short videos and pass an online quiz. Each button below links to one of the videos. Work with your caseworker or internship coordinator to complete this training and receive your certificate. Make sure to attach your Job Readiness Certificate to your resume when you fill out a job application.
