Vaping and electronic cigarettes are battery‐operated devices that produce aerosol. They are often called e‐cigs, e‐hookahs, hookah pens, vapes, vape pens, vape pipes, mods or Juuls.
There are different types of devices, and devices can contain nicotine, THC, or CBD.
The Humboldt County Office of Education has received a Tobacco Use Prevention Education (TUPE) grant that provides funding to pay printing costs for schools and districts on handouts and posters concerning teen vaping/e-cigarettes. If you are interested in printed materials to support your messaging and campaigns, fill out our online form or download a PDF order form and return it to the address at the bottom of the form. If you prefer, you may also download the resources below and print them out yourself.
