Humboldt County Office of Education: Personnel

Welcome to the Personnel Department at the Humboldt County Office of Education. We are here to assist those of you who are currently involved in education, as well as those who may be exploring careers or employment within school settings.

The goal of the Personnel Department is to provide leadership, expertise and relevant assistance in all areas of school employment issues. The key services, technical expertise and assistance we provide include staffing, classification and compensation, labor and employee relations, state and federal compliance, records management, employee data base management, performance management, credentials monitoring, advertising/recruitment and assistance with selection in the hiring process, paraprofessional examinations, substitute services such as credential application and livescan fingerprint service for teachers and paraprofessionals who will be subbing throughout Humboldt County.
