HUMBOLDT COUNTY, CA – It’s that time of year again! It’s time to recognize the outstanding teachers in our schools and nominate them for the Humboldt County Excellence in Teaching Awards.

Do you know a teacher who goes above and beyond in the classroom? A teacher who truly makes a difference in the lives of their students. A teacher who deserves to be recognized for their hard work and dedication. Now is your chance to nominate them for the Humboldt County Excellence in Teaching Awards!

Any staff, student, or community member can nominate a teacher for the award. The nomination process is easy and can be done via Google forms. Nominees must have a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, and the program is open to all TK-12th grade teachers of all subjects. Nominations must be submitted by Monday, January 30th at 5:00 PM. Honorees are chosen by a committee of former Teachers of the Year, and will be honored at the Day of the Teacher Ceremony in May.
