Local Humboldt science educators, who teach grades 4-12, and HCOE Learning Support Specialist, Shannon Morago, have worked to create this workshop series for the past six months as an opportunity to engage with inquiry, argument-driven, and model-based curriculum that is adapted for specific learners. Join us for four sessions, starting in October and ending in April, with one optional session in March. The leadership team will learn alongside participants as they teach the same material in their classes. 

Participants will collaborate, develop, and facilitate a lesson with their students using an inquiry-based curriculum. All participants can choose one of two curricula that will be provided.  This is a terrific opportunity to learn alongside other Humboldt educators. All levels of experience and scientific knowledge are WELCOME!  In addition to curriculum, attend all required sessions and receive a $200 Educator Incentive! Also, one Cal Poly Humboldt Continuing Education Unit is available.
