The safety and wellness of students, families, and school personnel are our highest priorities. By invitation, enrichment sessions for gifted and talented students in grades 4-8.


Humboldt County History Day 

Next Event: 2021-2022 School Year
Humboldt State University

County competition in six categories for projects reflecting the National History Day theme by students in grades 4 – 12.


County Spelling Bee 

March/April 2022
Location TBD

Elementary oral competition and junior high written competition, with Regional Champion advancing to Scripps National Spelling Bee.


All County Music Festival

March 19, 2022

This exciting annual event features performances by junior and senior choirs, bands and orchestras from schools throughout the County.


Doris Niles Science Fair

Virtual Event

This event features over 300 projects by students in grades 4-12 who have earned placement through school competitions and are judged by over 100 volunteers for the opportunity to advance to State.
