Due to current CDC guidelines, HCOE will be reimagining our student events during this rapidly changing environment. The safety and wellness of students, families, and school personnel are our highest priorities. Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we find new ways to honor our students and their academic success.
By invitation, enrichment sessions for gifted and talented students in grades 4-8.
County competition in six categories for projects reflecting the National History Day theme by students in grades 4 – 12.
Elementary oral competition and junior high written competition, with Regional Champion advancing to Scripps National Spelling Bee.
This exciting annual event features performances by junior and senior choirs, bands and orchestras from schools throughout the County.
This event features over 300 projects by students in grades 4-12 who have earned placement through school competitions and are judged by over 100 volunteers for the opportunity to advance to State.
A countywide showcase of high achieving high school seniors. Nominated by their school leaders, each member receives a scholarship, and two are recognized as Stellar Students!
This event provides recognition to high school seniors who have attained a high level of proficiency in one or more languages in addition to English.
Middle and high school students showcase their woodworking, drafting, metals and machine work; trophies and scholarships awarded.
