Glen Paul School programs are designed to meet the special education needs of children and youth from ages 3 to 22.

The children and youth served may be physically disabled, severely developmentally delayed or multiply handicapped.

The goal of the Glen Paul School program is to provide students with educational opportunities which allow them to gain maximum independence at home, at school, in the community and in future job placements.

Preschool classes provide children with developmentally appropriate preschool opportunities with non-disabled students.

Classes for primary-age students build on learning starting at the preschool level, with increased emphasis on community-based instruction.

Teens through age 22 are instructed in a variety of settings to increase independence in the community. Such skills as shopping, dining out, accessing public transportation and using community resources for business, recreation, and leisure are goals for students to develop in the community setting.

Identification and Referral

Children and youth are referred to Glen Paul by their school district of residence. Placement is based on diagnosis, student need and IEP team recommendation.
