Humboldt County Office of Education: Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP)

Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP)

Notice: For the 2020-2021 School Year, the standard LCAP (Local Control & Accountability Plan) has been replaced by a different document, called the Learning Continuity & Attendance Plan. These plans will be posted in early- to mid-October.

As part of the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF), school districts, COEs, and charter schools are required to develop, adopt, and annually update a three-year Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP), beginning on July 1, 2014, using a template adopted by the California State Board of Education (SBE). The LCAP is required to identify goals and measure progress for student subgroups across multiple performance indicators.
